Failure to Thrive

I've been diagnosed with Geriatric Failure to Thrive. I don't think of myself as geriatric but I have all the symptoms and the hospital and doctors have made this an official diagnosis. I want you all the know that I am fighting as hard as I can to turn this around.

Love, R

Roseann--I've got a large group of people praying for you, dear Invisible Friend! And for Gary too.

You awe me. May the Holy Spirit bring you strength, courage, peace, and joy.

Part of the battle is naming the illness. It somehow gives a target and allows one to focus. Continuing to pray in the churches of this Benefice.

What SR said.

I've never even heard of "geriatric failure to thrive." Sounds like some generic medical phrase to me.

But that's why I'm not a doctor!!

Adding my continued prayers to today's comments, Roseann. Geriatric failure to thrive may be a medical diagnosis, but clearly your docs haven't been to your blog and seen how your spirit thrives in the midst of this - #%$&^*&@##### - for lack of a better word. Rock on, dear heart.
