He is here.

He is here. I know not literally born in Bethlehem in a manger and blah, blah, pagan rituals, fish sticks.

He is here for me. And I am grateful.

At Easter we say "He is risen!" From now on at Christmas I will say, "He is here!"

I know, I'm totally paradoxical. I loathe and detest religiosity and yet I am such a little christian. What can I say? I loves me some Jesus!

Hmmm....I don't see it as paradoxical. I see it as more of a balance, really. I too, still enjoy and revel in the mystery of the Christmas story.

I'm of the opinion that much good and great can still be drawn from it provided we eschew the religiosity of it and look for the message of it.. My personal fav is the "Blessed Virgin Mary." (My commentary on that is best left to private correspondence!)

Yet the story is still great. A being of humble beginnings bringing the greatest message of all time to this planet. All things living included.

I could go on...but I'll just say...
